Loved Kara Sevda? 12 Turkish Dramas Like Endless Love to Watch Next

Finished Kara Sevda and miss Kemal and Nihan? These 12 Turkish dramas have the same epic love, family secrets and heartbreak, from Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? to Uzak Şehir.

Kara Sevda poster

Kara Sevda (Endless Love) is one of the most loved Turkish dramas ever made, and the first Turkish series to win an International Emmy. Kemal (Burak Özçivit) and Nihan (Neslihan Atagül), torn apart by Emir (Kaan Urgancıoğlu), left millions of viewers, from Latin America to India, looking for something with the same intensity.

We picked twelve series with what made Kara Sevda special: a love that has to survive impossible obstacles, a powerful villain, family secrets and a lot of tears. Classics first, then the series you can watch as they air.

The classics

1. Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne? (Kanal D, 2010–2012)

The closest match, from the same producer, Ay Yapım. Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne? is the story of a young woman from an Aegean village (Beren Saat) whose life is destroyed in one night, and of Kerim (Engin Akyürek), who is forced to marry her. Like Kara Sevda, it is about injustice, the power of rich families and a love that grows where no one expects it. One of the most exported Turkish series in history.

2. Kara Para Aşk (ATV, 2014–2015)

If you liked the thriller side of Kara Sevda, this is for you. On the same night, police inspector Ömer (Engin Akyürek) loses his fiancée and jewellery designer Elif (Tuba Büyüküstün) loses her father, found shot dead in the same car. Kara Para Aşk mixes romance with money laundering, revenge and a great villain.

3. Kuzey Güney (Kanal D, 2011–2013)

Two brothers in love with the same girl, and one night that changes everything: Kuzey (Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ) goes to prison for his brother Güney (Buğra Gülsoy), who builds the life Kuzey was supposed to have. Kuzey Güney has the same sense of fate and sacrifice as Kemal’s story, and the same director, Hilal Saral, worked on both.

4. Aşk-ı Memnu (Kanal D, 2008–2010)

The series that made Turkish drama famous abroad, also by Ay Yapım and Hilal Saral. In Aşk-ı Memnu, Bihter marries a rich older man and falls into a forbidden affair with his nephew in a Bosphorus mansion. Less about good against evil than Kara Sevda, but just as intense.

5. Sen Anlat Karadeniz (ATV, 2018–2019)

Sold to a violent man at sixteen, Nefes (İrem Helvacıoğlu) lives as his prisoner for eight years until Tahir (Ulaş Tuna Astepe) from the Black Sea decides to save her. Sen Anlat Karadeniz has a villain as frightening as Emir and a hero as loyal as Kemal.

6. Hercai (ATV, 2019–2021)

A marriage built on a plan of revenge in Midyat: Miran (Akın Akınözü) marries Reyyan (Ebru Şahin) to destroy her family, then falls in love with her. Hercai is full of the family secrets and impossible choices that Kara Sevda fans love.

7. Emanet (Kanal 7, 2020–2025)

If what you miss most is the time you spent with the characters, Emanet has 805 episodes. Rich, harsh Yaman (Halil İbrahim Ceyhan) and modest Seher (Sıla Türkoğlu) fight over their nephew’s custody under the same roof, and hostility slowly turns into love. Hugely popular in India and Pakistan.

8. Yalı Çapkını (Star TV, 2022–2025)

The most watched romance of recent years. Spoiled playboy Ferit (Mert Ramazan Demir) is married off to Seyran (Afra Saraçoğlu) from Gaziantep by his grandfather. Yalı Çapkını has the rich-family drama and jealousy of Kara Sevda, with a younger cast.

9. Uzak Şehir (Kanal D, 2024–present)

The most watched series in Turkey in the first half of 2026. A widow (Sinem Ünsal) who only came for a funeral cannot leave her husband’s village near the Syrian border, and her powerful brother-in-law Cihan (Ozan Akbaba) stands in her way. Uzak Şehir is the closest thing to Kara Sevda on Turkish TV right now.

10. Taşacak Bu Deniz (TRT 1, 2025–present)

A first love destroyed by a feud between two Black Sea villages, and a reunion years later. Taşacak Bu Deniz, with Ulaş Tuna Astepe and Deniz Baysal, is the most watched series in Turkey, and free to watch worldwide on tabii.

11. Güller ve Günahlar (Kanal D, 2025–present)

A man betrayed by his wife and his own brother, a paper marriage to save a child, and a love that becomes real. Güller ve Günahlar with Murat Yıldırım and Cemre Baysel is a classic slow-burn romance.

12. Sevdiğim Sensin (Star TV, 2026–present)

A young man marries a girl from a village in eastern Turkey to free her from her family. Sevdiğim Sensin, with Aytaç Şaşmaz and Helin Kandemir, is the romance of 2026.
