The 12 Best Turkish Series of 2026 (So Far)
The best Turkish series of 2026, from the ratings leader Taşacak Bu Deniz to Uzak Şehir, Yeraltı and Netflix's The Museum of Innocence, with where to watch each one.

2026 has been a strong year for Turkish drama: a Black Sea feud story that dominates the ratings, a Mardin romance adapted from a Lebanese hit, an undercover crime thriller that broke out on streaming, and a Nobel-winning novel on Netflix. This list is based on Turkish ratings, international popularity and how our readers vote. Rankings will change as the season goes on, so vote for your favourite at the end.
1. Taşacak Bu Deniz (TRT 1)
The most watched Turkish series of the 2025–2026 season, and still number one this autumn. Taşacak Bu Deniz is a Black Sea story about two villages at war for generations, and about Adil Koçari (Ulaş Tuna Astepe) and Esme Furtuna (Deniz Baysal), who loved each other as teenagers before the feud tore them apart. In late October it reached 9.81 in the Total group, its best score of the season. On TRT 1 and free worldwide on tabii.
2. Uzak Şehir (Kanal D)
Uzak Şehir was the most watched series in Turkey in the first half of 2026. Alya (Sinem Ünsal) comes to her late husband’s village near the Syrian border only for the funeral, but the powerful Albora family will not let her son go, and her brother-in-law Cihan (Ozan Akbaba) stands in her way. The stone houses of Midyat are half the reason to watch. Now in season 3.
3. Yeraltı (NOW)
The breakout hit of 2026. In Yeraltı, Deniz Can Aktaş is Haydar Ali, who kills his father’s murderer on the day he proposes, then has to go undercover in one of Turkey’s most dangerous cartels for the intelligence service. Fast, dark and very well made, with Uraz Kaygılaroğlu. Season 2 is the second most watched show of the week in late October.
4. Sevdiğim Sensin (Star TV)
The romance of the year. Doing his military service in Ağrı, Erkan (Aytaç Şaşmaz) saves villagers in an earthquake and meets Dicle (Helin Kandemir), who has never left her village. To free her from her family, he marries her and brings her to Istanbul. Sevdiğim Sensin is also on IMDb’s list of the most popular Turkish shows as You Are the One I Love.
5. Masumiyet Müzesi (Netflix)
The best Turkish streaming series of the year. Güller ve Günahlar brings Murat Yıldırım back to prime time as Serhat, a hotel owner betrayed by his wife and his own brother, and Cemre Baysel as Zeynep, the nanny who agrees to a paper marriage with him so a little girl can be adopted. A classic slow-burn love story, now in season 2.
