Biography
Ulaş Tuna Astepe is a Turkish actor known for Tahir Kaleli in Sen Anlat Karadeniz (Lifeline) and Adil Koçari in Taşacak Bu Deniz, the most watched Turkish series of the 2025–2026 season. He was born on 5 May 1988 in İzmit.
Career
Astepe went to boarding school at İstanbul Erkek Lisesi, where he started doing theatre, and studied acting at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory. In 2008 he worked as a costume assistant on the film Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti before moving in front of the camera.
He became known as Orhan in Karadayı, then played Mustafa in Analar ve Anneler and Alaz in Rüya. His breakthrough came as Tahir, the loyal Black Sea man who shelters a woman fleeing her abusive husband, opposite İrem Helvacıoğlu in Sen Anlat Karadeniz (2018–2019).
On stage he has worked with Berkun Oya, and on film he played leading roles in Körfez (2017) and Sarı, Siyam, Kanocular ve Ev Sahibi (2020). Since 2025 he has led TRT 1’s Taşacak Bu Deniz opposite Deniz Baysal.
