About the series
No: 309 is a Turkish romantic comedy created by Aslı and Banu Zengin for FOX, starring Demet Özdemir as Lale and Furkan Palalı as Onur. It premiered on 1 June 2016 and concluded on 25 October 2017 after 65 episodes.
Plot
In a video recorded before his death, an elderly millionaire tells his whole family that the first grandchild to marry and have a child will inherit his share of the family company. Desperate to secure the fortune, mothers rush to arrange blind dates for their children.
Pushed by his mother, Onur goes on a blind date, where he meets Lale, who is there to meet a young doctor who happens to be called Onur too. The mix-up turns into a wild night of fun, and both wake up in room 309 of a hotel, unable to remember what happened. They agree never to see each other again, until, three months later, Lale discovers she is pregnant with Onur’s baby.
They agree to marry and divorce once the baby is born so that Onur can claim the inheritance, but living together, they fall in love and raise their son Emir.
