Hazal Subaşı

Hazal Subaşı is a Turkish actress, model and beauty queen who won Miss Turkey Supranational 2015 and went on to lead popular TV dramas such as Adını Sen Koy. She was born on 2 May 1995 in İzmir; her family is of Turkish descent from Thessaloniki.

From pageant to acting

Subaşı earned a degree in public relations and advertising from İzmir University of Economics. She then entered Miss Turkey 2015, finishing third and winning the right to represent Turkey at Miss Supranational 2015. Soon afterwards she began taking acting lessons.

Career

Her big break came with the lead role of Zehra in Adını Sen Koy, a long-running daily drama about a young woman forced into a marriage she did not choose. The series built a large audience in Turkey and abroad and made Subaşı one of the most recognisable young faces of Turkish daytime drama.

She has since continued to work in television series and streaming productions, combining acting with modelling and brand campaigns.
