About the series

Yeşilçam is a Turkish period drama about the golden age of Turkish cinema in the 1960s, directed by Çağan Irmak and written by Volkan Sümbül and Levent Cantek. Produced by Sunset Film for BluTV, it stars Çağatay Ulusoy, Afra Saraçoğlu and Selin Şekerci, and ran for two seasons and 20 episodes from 22 April to 10 December 2021.

Story

Semih Ateş is a young, handsome and ambitious film producer and the owner of a studio in Yeşilçam, the Istanbul street that gave its name to the Turkish film industry. Facing debts, rivals and the pressures of a fast-changing business, he fights to keep his company alive. Between the actresses Tülin and Mine, love, ambition and rivalry collide behind the cameras.
