Biography
Berk Atan is a Turkish actor and model who has played Taner Kaya, the dreamy young inventor of TRT 1’s Gönül Dağı, since 2020. He was born on 26 September 1991 in İzmir to a family of Bosniak origin.
Career
Atan won Best Model of Turkey in 2012 and studied acting at Beykent University. He made his screen debut as Selçuk in Her Şey Yolunda and then played Pamir in Altındağlı.
He became widely known as Savaş Mertoğlu in Güneşin Kızları (2015–2016), alongside Hande Erçel and Tolga Sarıtaş. He then starred in Dayan Yüreğim (2017) and played Selim Arısoy in Cennet’in Gözyaşları (2017–2018).
Since 2020 he has led Gönül Dağı, one of the longest-running and most loved family dramas on Turkish television, now in its seventh season. He has more than 5 million followers on Instagram.
