Kadir Doğulu

Kadir Doğulu is a Turkish actor known for Ali in Küçük Sırlar, the Turkish remake of Gossip Girl, the lead in Fatih Harbiye and Mehmed III Giray in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. He was born on 19 April 1982 in Mersin.

Early life

During secondary and high school Doğulu worked many jobs, including as a cook. In 2000 he moved to Istanbul to study at Okan University. Through his brother Kemal Doğulu, stylist to pop star Hande Yener, he met Yener, worked with her and appeared in her music video “Romeo”, which led to acting offers.

Career

He played Ali, the Turkish Nate Archibald, in Küçük Sırlar and joined the youth comedy Pis Yedili. He then took the lead in Fatih Harbiye, adapted from Peyami Safa’s classic novel, where he met his future wife.

In 2015 he played Mehmed III Giray in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem alongside Beren Saat. Later leading roles include Bana Sevmeyi Anlat (2016–2017), Babamın Günahları (2018), Vuslat (2019–2020) and Aşkın Tarifi (2021).

Personal life

Doğulu married actress Neslihan Atagül on 8 July 2016; they met on the set of Fatih Harbiye in 2013 and welcomed a son in 2025.
